Dear Judith and Alan:
Your Mom and I were thes best of friends through high school and even into our college days - she was my Maid of Honor at my wedding in 1958. How much fun we had talking at our many sleepovers - and having toast and coffee before we went to sleep - sometimes with your grandmother! BUT of all, I will remember the openess we had, talking about each and every feeling we had - she was with me the night I literally heard the "bells" when I questioned whether my husband would be "right" for me (we just celebrated 52 years so I guess he was!)I saw her a few years ago when I came to MHSC reunion, which she felt was not good for her (to attend).
Over the years we lost touch but it was so good seeing and catching up with her at the Wayfarer!!!
Bill and I send our condolences to you - Albra was indeed a warm, commited and loving person - with a smile that encaptured you when you first met her!
Warmly,
Lynn and Bill Saxton
